Introduction

When the Lord first started dealing with me about forming the “National War Council” (NWC) it was to actively support any duly elected President that valued the character and determination of our Founding Fathers. Rarely today would a statesman speak, or write, the words that Thomas Jefferson inserted at the conclusion of the Declaration of Independence,”1And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.” Of the 55,000 documents reviewed concerning the Founding Fathers, scripture was quoted 33% of the time and of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence, 24 held Seminary or Bible School degrees.

With that said, the bedrock of our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. While the strategy over several decades has been to alter our history and eliminate any reference to what is prominently printed on our currency – “In God we Trust” – the NWC chose to actively oppose those clandestine efforts. Conjugated with the values of Judeo-Christian principles is an unbreakable bond in the lasting relationship with Israel. Above and beyond being our most loyal ally in the Middle East, the Jewish people gave us the Torah (Pentateuch) and other Old Testament books which richly impacted the early beliefs and followers of Jesus Christ. Therein, the Old Testament and New Testament became the “Bible” or Holy Writ of Almighty God that was instrumental to the early settlers and the founding of the original 13 colonies.

Following the courageous precedent set by President Truman, on May 14, 1948, the Provisional Government of Israel proclaimed a new State of Israel while the United States simultaneously recognized and affirmed the provisional government as the de facto authority of the new Jewish State. Over the decades some Presidents have had good working relationships with Israel while others have not. Perhaps the most strained relationship with Israel in modern history was during the two terms of President Barak Obama. Enter the improbable winner of the 2016 Presidential election – Donald John Trump.

President Trump made history in winning the largest upset in political history and immediately set out to restore and reaffirm the unwavering commitment of the United States to Israel. Solidifying our bond, on December 6, 2017, President Trump shocked the world by formally recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Then 70 years after the founding of Israel, on May 14, 2018, President Trump confirmed his decision to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem – two separate actions that took courage and exceptional leadership.

The issue the NWC has in the following position papers is not with the President but his effort (and Middle East envoys) to make “a deal of the century” – the Trump Israel Peace Initiative or TIPP. In subsequent pages are ten different position papers that have been widely circulated and sent directly to key White House advisors on the disingenuous (naive) plan to negotiate peace between the Palestinians, the terrorist organization Hamas and Israel. We strenuously oppose the effort on a scriptural (Torah) basis.

As you read there are some duplicate messages contained in each paper, as each position paper was distributed separately on multiple dates. Some of the information in the papers were from “leaked” sources that opposed the plan, the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, Israeli newspapers, U.S. diplomats and numerous press conferences. For all the good President Trump achieved in acknowledging Jerusalem as the capital and then moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, TIPP will negate those commendable milestones and lead his administration and the country into an abyss of chaos and devastation.
